Okay, since the grainy flashbacks on Hiatus and Requiem simply don't cut it for me, I think it's time for a Shannon & Kelly Challenge.

(I based the due date on the one year anniversary of Requiem)

Your assignment is to do a fanfic involving Gibbs with his late family. You have one of two options for when to set the story:

- Prior to Shannon & Kelly's deaths in 1991. (Flashbacks are also allowed as long as the majority of the story is set around that time)
- A/U any time with Shannon and Kelly still alive.

Ratings: Please keep it PG-13 or less.

Pairings: Gibbs can't be paired with anyone else other than Shannon, unless the story is set before he and Shannon get together. (Or unless it's a flashback story, ie. He's with Abby and reminscing.) Other than that, other Het pairings area allowed, as long as the focus is on the Gibbs family.

Restrictions: Please - nothing describing the actual moments of their deaths, all right? Especially Kelly's. Also nothing with severed body parts or horror-like creatures. And no crack!fic.

Length: Minimum of 1500 words. No maximum.

At least two of the following are required in the story: Gibbs, Shannon, and Kelly. (All three is even better). Maddie Tyler isn't required, but she's always welcome. Any other main characters can be used when appropriate.

Have fun and can't wait to read them.

requiem was that not 5 so that puts us in Brit, a bit out, unless you want to expand. I know Maddie was there but not the lead up so spoilers or not give us a clue// please

actually could do . not what you're wanting. A/U Eve and Gibbs and how are the kids doing. I can just see Jon going thro' Kelly's make up bag. He must be crawling by now.

Mom -you seen my lipstick....ahhh ....mom.....John, your son just..........."
"Kelly he's only a baby...."
"Mom....."
"Kelly.........You never been one year old. No you wouldn't remember."
"Mom....John? Oh god I hate this family....."
"Shannon I think we have a problem............."
"So, who we gonna call...........Gibbs Busters??? Shannon laughs
"I was thinking the still alive parents" John replies.
"You maybe right..........."
"Kelly............here now"
"Ah Momm"

Very interesting. I'd like to try and do something for this, if I have time and an idea, of course. I have only written one flashback scene with Shannon and Kelly, but I would like to make another attemtp.
