On the Run - WWG #10 Abby/Fornell « Thread Started on Mar 5, 2008, 10:40pm »
On the Run by iheartGibbs Category: Het Rating: FR15 Pairing: Abby/Fornell Prompt: Running Warnings: Sexually suggestive Written for the WWG, Week 10
A/N: I have no idea where this came from. Sorry, y’all.
---
“You do realize Gibbs will kill you when he finds out,” she said. She smiled slyly at him, her eyes hooded with desire.
“I’ll add it to the list,” he said gruffly as he pulled her to him.
After a few heated kisses, she pulled slightly away from him.
“You have a list?” she asked, amused.
“Of things Gibbs would kill me if he knew? Of course,” he confirmed.
She pushed him backward onto the couch, and then climbed onto his lap and wrapped her legs around him. He gave her a look that showed how much he appreciated her efforts, and then laced his fingers in her hair and pulled her mouth down to meet his.
His crushing kiss was on the border between pleasure and pain, but she liked it. Seeing how much he wanted her was really turning her on. She had always been attracted to him, but had never imagined she would be writhing on his lap, wishing for him to make her his.
“I want you,” she whispered, when he finally relaxed his grip enough for her to pull a couple of inches away.
He chuckled. “I know,” he answered confidently.
He ran his hands down her sides to her thighs, gripping her just below her short leather skirt, which had already been pushed up to her panty line when she straddled him. He held her there for a moment, just staring into her lovely green eyes. He looked at her and in that moment, with her eyes dilated and her hands on him, she was temptation personified. He knew that technically she was forbidden to him, and that was part of what made her irresistible.
“I hardly think this is what Gibbs had in mind when he sent you here for me to protect you. These guys you are running from are bad news.”
“I know, but I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow,” she said, dramatically.
He smirked, “Alright, Ms. O’Hara. I suppose we’ll have to find something else to talk about,” he said suggestively.
She smiled brightly. “So…” she prompted, wiggling against him.
Tobias released an involuntary moan and then rose from the couch, half lifting her with him. He led her into the back half of the safe house, holding her close to him. She was taller than he, hotter than he, much younger than he, in danger and entrusted to his care. Not to mention, the man he considered to be his best friend loved her like a daughter, or more. There were a million reasons why he shouldn’t be holding her this way, but they only succeeding in making her that much more appealing.
Abby’s mind was so clouded with lust, she could hardly think straight. She couldn’t believe that this man, who she had only considered previously in passing, had her so tied in knots. She wanted him – no, needed him – so badly in that moment that any consequences of her actions fled her mind.
They stood, staring, neither making a move for what seemed like an eternity. Then it was as if the passion in the room literally ignited; they leapt on one another, desperate for what only the other could give.
---
Abby snuggled closer to Tobias in her sleep, enjoying the sensation of having such a man in her bed. The sheet that covered them provided some concealment, but did little to hide the fact that both were there together and naked. She startled awake at the sound of a throat clearing. She glanced at the man in her arms; he was clearly still sleeping.
“Over here, Abby,” a stern, quiet voice called from the doorway.
“Gibbs!” Abby whispered, alarmed. She sat straight up, and then blushed and pulled the sheet up to hide her nudity.
“What’s going on?” Tobias asked, having been awakened by Abby’s sudden movement.
“Gibbs is here,” Abby answered softly.
Tobias groaned. Great. “Hey, Jethro,” he said.
He reached over and grabbed his boxers from where they lay next to the bed, slid them on and crossed the room.
“Any news?” he asked, ignoring the other man’s wrath.
Gibbs stared from Tobias to Abby and back, his face stone.
“We’ve had no activity here; everything’s quiet,” Tobias continued.
“No activity?” Gibbs asked. His voice was extremely soft, almost inaudible, but it held more anger than Abby had heard in his voice since Ari had pulled his stunt in Autopsy.
“Gibbs? What’s wrong? Did something happen?” she asked, suddenly worried that something may have happened to someone on the team while they were protecting her. “Oh my God! McGee? Tony?! Gibbs!” She was now shouting, “Tell me! Oh, God.”
She pulled on her robe and began pacing. She crossed to where Gibbs and Tobias were standing.
Gibbs shook his head and then turned away from Abby, as if dismissing her. Not bothering to address her concerns, he turned to Tobias.
“You were supposed to take care of her, Tobias!” he shouted. “Take care of her; not take advantage of her.”
Tobias chuckled. He was not surprised Gibbs was upset, but this was a bit much. “Yeah, I took advantage of her,” he replied sarcastically. “What, Abs, three…four times?”
Abby gasped when Gibbs threw the first punch.
---
“You serious about this?” Gibbs asked Abby, now that they were alone. Tobias had left to ‘run an errand’, which was obviously his way of giving them some time to talk. “He’s an old man.”
“He’s not that old,” she replied with a secretive smile. “If you had asked me last week, I would have told you no. But now…I am definitely interested.”
He shifted the bag of frozen peas that he was holding against his quickly swelling head injury.
“Are you going to be okay?” she asked, seriously concerned.
It was nice having someone stand up for her, but Abby had honestly been afraid they would kill each other before she managed to get them apart. She was grateful she hadn’t taken a hit in the process of separating them. If either man had hit her, she knew he would never forgive himself.
“Ah…” Gibbs motioned toward the frozen peas, “at least these things are good for something.”
After a moment of silence, Gibbs continued. “You sure, Abs? Fornell?” He shook his head in disbelief.
“He’s pretty great, Gibbs,” she admitted with a sigh.
“Then I’ll let you be. He’s a good man.”
The door opened and Tobias reentered the safe house, a questioning expression on his weathered face.
“Take care of her,” Gibbs ordered as he grabbed his coat. “Call if you need backup.”
“Oh, I probably will,” Tobias answered, quickly dodging Abby’s answering punch to the arm. “Careful, girl,” he teased, “if you hit as hard as your boss, I’ll be in for a world of hurt.”
“And don’t you forget it,” she mock-threatened.
---
Gibbs could hear Abby’s squeal and subsequent laughter as he made his way to his car. Tobias and Abby? He shook his head and shrugged. Surely stranger things had happened, but not in his experience.

You are so right - Cassy is going to LOVE this.
I quite enjoyed it myself. I saw the prompts and thought about writing an Abby/Fornell story, but I didn't have anything like this quite in mind. I gasped, too, when Gibbs punched Fornell. Holy cats. Yay Barb writing. I must do more of that myself.

Maybe I should go sleep. That might be a better idea, considering I get up at 6 AM and it's currently 10:30 PM. Maybe a little. Maybe I'll just make some outlines in my fic notebook or something. Yeah, that sounds good. Never hurts to be organized.

Okay. So I cheated and read this even though I have a bunch of other stories that deserve feedback first. But damn - Fornell/Abby is about as much a current love of mine as Jen/Abs. We all know everyone loves Abby anyway.
But my Gibbs, my Gibbs... oh he loves his girl. He'd never let anyone date Abs if it's not what she wanted. And Fornell/Abby (much like Fornell/Ziva) could work so well. I bet none of you would have noticed if I had cheated and added Gibbs into that pairing, right?
Although I guess I should be glad. I love this story and I somehow doubt you'd have written me Gibbs/Abby/Fornell.

BRILLIANT! A really different story and everyone so perfectly in character . I think it goes without saying that I love this. Gibbs' reaction was both a surprise and predictable.
I cannot tell you enough how much this has cheered me up today. A real ray of sunshine in a gray day THANK YOU!

Thank you, Tony. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know you are a Gabby shipper. I'm not, but can't see Gibbs really getting behind Abby/Fornell very easily. I really thought he would freak when he found out, so I wrote it that way. Hope it didn't seem too...off.

That was great, Barb! I should not read fic like this in the student center. Too many people were staring at me when I started laughing during the aftermath of the fight. I could so see Gibbs reacting this way to Abby sleeping with Fornell.
