The Snape/Hermione pairing is one of my favourites ships from HP :P

That summary that vamperstone commented on has just made me day, week, YEAR.

My computer has been on the fritz so I've been out of the loop for a while ;)

I'm so excited that we're so close!!! I can almost smell the coffee and sawdust ;D

It was a Snape/Hermione fic that got me back into fanfic writing. I actually posted one on fanfic.net - though it's more friendship, no sex. I kept the ages real and didn't invoke 'when she grows up' or 'time shift'. If I recall correctly, I got two review, one saying "you should really learn to spell the character names correctly" and the other saying "why did you write this?"

Aussies are getting concerned. NCIS is being fast-tracked this year but because we also have NCIS on a Tuesday AND we are ahead of you timezone wise, we'll probably see it a week late unless they change our airing day. You'd think a week after the US screening wouldn't cause complaints but it's outside the spoiler window limit of 3 days. If they shifted NCIS to Wednesdays here, we'd see it only hours after you guys like we do with Leno.

Don't forget all the Harry slash pairings...

Meanwhile, for Aussies: channel 10 just announced its week 39 schedule. The NCIS episode for the 23rd September is Model Behaviour. House season 5 premiers/premiered in the US on 16th Sept and is fast-tracked to the 24th. Looks like NCIS will have a similar time lag.

I predict season 6 NCIS in Oz on the 30th September.

Hey, have you read The Elf Lord's Mistress? Amber did amazing things with McGee & Jenny, and they aren't even a pairing I thought I would like.

All I'm saying, don't knock a pairing until you've read it . . . You still might not like it, but at least give it a chance. (Of course, I'm always on a defense for pairings that get dissed, but you know.)

I'm not dissing it... I've read a few Hr/Sn fictions but I just don't understand it. She's at least 25 years younger than him AND one of his students. Lol

Anyway, back to NCIS.

I don't know HP fandom at all, so I can't really comment. But you know, there are ships like that in NCIS fandom. At least age-wise. They aren't necessarily my favorite pairings in the world, but I can see where the shippers are coming from.

Uh, this is really off-topic. :P Anyone have any new season six news? Anything fun we can speculate about? (Though I can always do my McGiva speculation elsewhere, if it bothers people.)

LOL, somehow Gibbs' house and partying are two things I don't really see going together . . . :P I can see it now; they just all show up and Abby brings her music and bartending skills and they're all having fun and then Gibbs shows up. :P

Yeah... lol. But everyone else lives in an apartment. So, yeah, they break into Gibbs' house to start the party... he walks in, trying to feign anger but is happy to have them all back too.... he just goes down to his basement to continue working on the boat while they all party upstairs...

Dude, he could have a flashback of Kelly with that.... basements don't mute sound from the upstairs. So he'd still hear the music, muffled of course, and them all talking and dancing. Could remind him of his daughter dancing around or playing the piano and all.... Ok, that's my "Aww" moment. :D
